WHO GOES TO THE JUBILEE HOUSE, MILLS OR NANA
Ghana went to the polls on the December 7 but failed to elect a leader because none of the 8 presidential aspirants got the 50%+1 vote of the total votes to win a first round victory.
Therefore there was the need to go for a re-run or a run-off between the best two aspirants. So Nana Akufo of the NPP and Prof. Atta Mills of the NDC qualify to justify their preparedness to enter the ultra-modern newly-built Flagstaff House now known as Golden Jubilee House. The date set for this battle is the 28th of December 2008.
The NPP which is in power now narrowly missed the opportunity by far less than 1% of the total votes. The little problem however is that, his party though in power failed to gain majority in the next national assembly -parliament.
The NDC led by its third time (in a row) candidate followed Nana closely by historically climbing beyond his usual 44% and jumped to almost 48% of the required votes. The good news for him however is that, his party, the NDC has a majority in parliament.
The question now is which of the two has the brightest opportunity of of gaining entry into the GOLDEN JUBILEE HOUSE??????
could it be the
